Word Studies...

As we read the bible we find that the meaning of certain scriptures is often lost or hidden in our English translation. For instance the word praise can have more than one meaning when read in its original text. On our Word Studies page we want to take a look at some of the "worship words" in their original text.

This is not an exhaustive study. We will be using the New King James Version unless otherwise noted. Most of the Hebrew and Greek definitions have been compiled from Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible.

Click on the word you want to study. A page will come up with the Hebrew and Greek words and definitions as well as some scripture references using that particular Hebrew or Greek word.
